The firm’s first and only client then was Datamonitor PLC (now part of Informa PLC), and they undertook projects in the Healthcare domain. One of the successful projects executed was ’Biosimilars Tracking’ during the evolution of EU and US regulations.
In the second quarter of 2012, while pitching for a market research opportunity with Non-Resident Indian physicians, Venkat Gunnam received an opportunity to establish an online healthcare platform for stakeholders in India. This led to the establishment of ’DesiMD Healthcare Private Limited’ in India. Venkat led the operations from June 2012 to September 2018, driving new-age business models in preventive care, healthcare aggregation, virtual health management, digital marketing services, etc.
The journey of ’Gunnam Associates’ was reinitiated in 2018 when Venkat Gunnam had an opportunity to pitch and acquire the Digital Marketing business of ’DesiMD Healthcare’ in the 3rd quarter of 2018. A new business division at ’Gunnam Associates’ was carved out in December 2018 as ’GA Digital Solutions’.
’GA Digital Solutions’ focuses on inbound marketing services - from Branding to the generation of inquiries online and conversion of the inquiries to business across industries.
