Available web technologies for website development

Web technology refers to the different tools and strategies used in the process of communicating through the internet between various sorts of devices. To access web pages, you'll need a web browser. Web browsers are programs that use the Internet to display text, information, images, animation, and video. Web browsers provide software interfaces for accessing hyperlinked material on the World Wide Web.

Web development is the process of designing, developing, and maintaining websites. Web design, web publishing, web development, and database management are all included in it. It means the building of an internet-based application like a website.

There are two ways to categorize web development:

1. Client side:

The area of a website with which the user interacts directly is referred to as frontend development. The 'client side' of an application is another term for it. The front end is made up of several languages, which are explained below:

• HTML:
HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language. It is a markup language that is used to design the front-end portion of web pages. HTML is a markup language that mixes hypertext with markup. The term "hypertext" refers to the link between web pages. Within the tag that specifies the structure of web pages, the markup language is used to create the text documentation.

• CSS:
It stands for Cascading Style Sheets, which is a simple language designed to make the process of making web pages presentable easier. Styles can be applied to web pages using CSS. More crucially, CSS allows you to do so without having to worry about the HTML code that makes up each web page.

• JavaScript:
JavaScript is a well-known programming language that is used to do magic on websites in order to make them more interactive for users. It's utilised to improve a website's functionality and run exciting games and web-based software.

• Angular:
Google maintains the Angular front-end framework. It is the most comprehensive solution, with the most combined functionalities, when compared to other front-end frameworks. Large enterprises and companies that require a sophisticated front-end solution frequently utilize it due to its durability and depth of capabilities. It has a steep learning curve, like other complicated applications.

• Bootstrap:
Bootstrap is a collection of free and open-source tools for building responsive websites and web apps. It's the most widely used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript framework for creating mobile-first, responsive websites. Websites are now compatible with all browsers (Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox) and screen sizes via desktops, tablets, laptops, phones, etc.)

What is the purpose of using Bootstrap?
• It is a more efficient and straightforward method of web development.
• It generates web pages that are platform neutral.
• It makes Responsive Websites.
• It also creates mobile-friendly responsive web pages.
• It's a free and open-source framework that you may download from www.getbootstrap.com.

2. Server-side:

The backend development (aka server-side) is made up of a number of languages, which are listed below:

• PHP:
It is a server-side programming language that was created with web development in mind. PHP is known as a server-side scripting language since it executes code on the server.

• ASP.NET:
It's a high-end framework that supports MVC architecture. ASP.NET Core can run on a variety of platforms, including Windows, Linux, and mac OS. It is very well suited to large organizations creating complicated applications. It can be employed when constructing a high-performance, CPU-intensive application or when aiming to build flexible and mature applications.

• Python:
Another prominent programming language is Python. It's straightforward and employs a unique syntax that prioritizes readability. Python is useful for applications and projects involving artificial intelligence (AI), statistics, computer science, and machine learning. It's also possible to utilize it to make web applications.

• Full-stack development:
Another word for this is "full-stack development," which refers to the mix of front-end and back-end development.

• Database-SQL:
MySQL is used by the world's largest and fastest-growing companies, like Facebook and Twitter, to power their high-volume websites, business-critical systems, and software platforms. SQL is a structured query language for storing, modifying, and retrieving data in databases that standardizes the data.
